I have previously used the heavy german knives. After I got this Global chef's knife, I plan to buy global for the rest of my life. I could go on forever but basically it's super light, super sharp (noticeably easier to cut with) and very durable. It also washes in seconds with a soapy sponge since's it's such a simple shape. Some people complain about the narrow handle, but I am 6'2" and have long fingers with no problems using this knife.Customer Review: Global Knife

Bought the chef's knife for my husband. Excellent quality of steel and well balanced. He is pleased with it and we will buy more of Global.
