Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Global Decor Stainless-Steel Chopsticks, 4 PairsCustomer Review: A little slippery. Summary: 2 Stars
Beautiful sleak design but not functional. The smooth surface does not allow for sufficient grip of food item.
Customer Review: A ninja's favorite eating tool Summary: 4 Stars
At work, we usually order Chinese food once a week. The delivery companies usually forget to give us chopsticks. That's why I love these. I can always have the whole package in my backpack so even if I want to eat some chips while keeping my hands clean, they are always with me.
Plus they are easy to clean with a soapy paper cloth which is easy to get at work.
There's only two things you'll need to worry about. It's possible that they could rust but if you clean them like any normal silver-wear, these should last for decades. The second is that if you cook with chopsticks, these can transmit the heat of the food to your hand much faster than wooden or plastic chopsticks.
Other than those two nitpicks, these are pretty much perfect.
Customer Review: BEAUTY & GRACE FOR SPECIALTY TABLE Summary: 4 Stars
FOR BEAUTY & GRACE THIS PRODUCT HELPS SET A NICE SPECIALTY TABLE. THEY ARE ALSO A GREAT CONVERSATION PIECE FOR BEGINNERS !!
Customer Review: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Summary: 5 Stars
I was a bit skeptical about getting these, after hearing the slippery noodle reviews, but decided on them anyhow. They are beautiful, hygenic, dishwasher safe, you don't have to change flatware for guests (great on occasion and everyday use), and the noodle slippage isn't as bad as I once supposed. It just makes me work that much harder to perfect my coordination... LOL! Great product
Customer Review: Best metal chopsticks I've ever used Summary: 4 Stars
The biggest problem I've had with metal chopsticks is that they are too thin and hard to use. However, since these are made of hollowed stainless steel, they are of similar proportion to wooden chopsticks and are about as easy to use. My only complaint is that the grips are rounded, not squared, which I think is harder to use.
They are more slippery than wooden chopsticks though, and since they taper to separate points it is a bit hard to eat noodles. Secondly, they do heat up quickly if you're eating hot soup, so don't leave them in your soup (just rest it on top of the bowl). These are problems inherent in all metal chopsticks though, so they aren't really a con.
Pros:
-Lightweight
-Same size as wooden chopsticks
-Stylish
-Easier to clean
Cons:
-Heat up when eating soup
-Slippery
-Rounded grips
