Although these spoons are a little big for grape fruit, they are perfect for grapefruit. They are about a month old and not rusty yet, so that's a good sign. My only complaint, which does not detract from their function, is their sharpness...I wish the serrations were a little sharper. Sure, I could cut my mouth or poke my eye out, but given the other vastly sharper items in the kitchen that have never cut me, I think most people could handle a slightly sharper spoon. Grapefruit juice in the eye, now that hurts.
